Automotive Photography

"We need a hideously complicated automotive photo shoot done this afternoon and we want the edited images sent to us by, like, yesterday..." No matter how challenging the assignment, or how bizarre our requests, RKP can be trusted to deliver efficiently and to our satisfaction. We were approached by Rod Kirkpatrick of RKPPhotography to write copy for an article targeted at the Daily Telegraph’s Business pages. We agreed to this and Rod subsequently visited our site where he spent an energetic morning taking some excellent still images of our Morris JE van and of the Morris Commercial Team. We then went out on the road and Rod took some further excellent stills of the JE van driving around The Cotswolds from a chase car. We then agreed the copy words for the article with him and Rod was careful to check this with us prior to sending to the Telegraph, who published one of his stills and a very positive caption. With our agreement, the material was distributed wider and it was then picked-up and published by the Times and at least one other organisation. Rod also included us in his blog for Toyota Commercial Vehicles. All of these have had a positive impact on our business. During the process we have been impressed by Rod’s professionalism, energy and his photographic and journalistic skills. We would not hesitate to recommend Rod to any other organisation and we will invite him to quote for any further work with us.

I always have great feedback from the shoots which Rod attends. He is able to be very professional but also inject an element of fun, helping the subjects to relax and achieve the results we want. He also provides his own input into the shoot, something I find invaluable.

Rod has an excellent eye for what makes a newsworthy photograph. With his photography skills and media contacts, he enabled us to achieve fantastic national press coverage. The phone hasn't stopped ringing.
